NetRail began operations in 1995 as a sales channel for the then SJ Cargo group for wagons, which were technically well equipped but commercially outmoded and in need of assistance with the sale of freight wagons.

A few years later NetRail’s sales representative expanded to also embrace assignments for NSB Goods, Norway and DSB Goods, Denmark. Products were freight cars of modern design for the Scandinavian market. Our primary markets are Bulgaria, France, Poland, Slovakia, The Czech Republic and Germany.

Own design Apart from NetRail’s importing of engines and wagons to Sweden, we have also designed new wagons, e.g. for transport of timber, 40–45 ft. container wagons and cost-effective ”Hirrs concept” with dual-coupled wagons.
Since NetRail’s first year in export sales of freight wagons to European markets, the company has grown to become a leader in the Northern European railway market. Our focus is on three lines of business:

• Purchase, sales and conveyance of rail vehicles
• Wagon keepers/owners
• Transport solutions/logistics

Fast expansion Up until the present date NetRail has sold and negotiated the purchase of more than 1500 cars to customers across the market. Commissions have also included delivery and transport of these rail vehicles.
Our area of business continues to quickly expand; we carefully follow trends of development within the railway sector and continually adapt in order to best provide for customer requirements of effective railway products regarding both vehicles and transport solutions.
